Check it out!!
Everyone meets at the VFW Post in Show Low for the delivery of toys to one low-income housing facility. Kickstands up at 11:00 a.m. Dinner when it’s ready! There will be a white elephant gifting that we ask no one spend more than $20 per gift. All proceeds will be given to the VFW Women’s Auxiliary to help feed additional indigent families in the area and a gift for those families children.
A few of us will stay at the post and fix dinner for the rest of the MMAA and anyone else who would like to eat, $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for a child, for a full turkey dinner!
***This is a POTLUCK dinner*** So far we have: turkey, ham, rigatoni, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean dish, a sweet potato dish, and one dessert. If you would like to bring a dish to help contribute to the dinner, it would be wonderfully appreciated!!!
Please contact Sherrene @ 532-0632/928-434-0034, or Dick Tush (phone number to be posted when I find it…lol) as he’s helping us in the kitchen too!
These are the organizations that we should ALL belong to and support in our daily walk of being bikers, and because we’re members of an MRO (motorcycle rights organization…in case anyone forgot)! I’m including the links to their web pages so you can get informed.
Please realize that without these organizations fighting for your rights, so far, we would look and ride very differently than we do now. They’ve saved the right for you to modify your scoots, the right to not wear a helmet over the age of 18 years in this beautiful state, and to wear colors if you choose. Please don’t ever forget the work they do to keep the government from telling us what to do!!! Right now they’re fighting the government who are profiling bikers wearing colors and in general. WE MUST STAY INVOLVED!!
I’ve spent a little time looking for a website that lists the most runs/events in Arizona, and here it is:
